This is a basic course designed for individuals currently working in a medical profession, but desire the skills associated with phlebotomy. The course provides instruction and practical
application in the skill of venipuncture (blood drawing). General information on venipuncture, capillary puncture techniques, and collection of specimens will be provided.

This program provides the Introduction to the Medical Profession, Computer Applications, Anatomy & Physiology with Medical Terminology, and Career Development classes in a four-day per week format. The 9:00 am - 2:00 pm class times
make it convenient for parents of school-aged children. Students may choose to move on to any one of the medical specialty programs after completion of this program.
