| Veterans |

The State of Delaware has approved some of our programs for Veteran’s Administration (VA) benefits. Veterans should contact our office at (302) 856-9035 for more information. |
| Veteran’s Refund Policy |
| |
Students who are receiving Veteran’s Administration (VA) assistance will be refunded their fees if they drop the course 72 hours prior to the class start date, or thereafter, based on a
pro-rata formula (hours remaining divided by total required hours multiplied by the tuition charged.) All refunds will be mailed to the veteran’s home address within 30 days of notification of a student’s change of status. |
| Out-of-State Residents |
| |
There is no additional charge for tuition for out-of-state residents, with the exception of the apprenticeship program. |
| Tuition Assisted Training Services |
| |
Many programs at the Sussex Tech Adult Division have been approved and certified by the Delaware Department of Labor to provide tuition assisted training services to eligible participants. In
order to register for selected Certificate Programs, students must qualify by passing a free skills assessment test. These tests are given periodically during the year at Sussex Tech. Please plan to spend about an hour to complete
the test. To register for the test, call (302) 856-9035. To find out if you qualify for tuition assistance, please call the Department of Labor at (302) 856-5230. |

| No Smoking Policy |

Sussex Tech has a smoke-free/tobacco-free policy which prohibits smoking on all school grounds and in all school buildings. All students are required to cooperate and comply with this policy. |

Individuals with a documented disability wishing to take part in any of the programs in the Sussex Tech Adult Division, including WIA programs, may request reasonable accommodations. This must

| Cancellation of Courses |

When enrollment in a course is below the required number, Sussex Tech reserves the right to cancel the course. Students who register for courses that are cancelled will be given the
opportunity to select replacement courses or receive a full refund. REGISTER EARLY; last minute registrations will NOT revive an already cancelled course. |
| Tuition Refund Policy |
| |
To receive a refund, the student must complete and submit an official withdrawal form.
| |
• Withdrawals received more than 72 hours prior to class start date will be refunded at 100% of the tuition cost.
• Withdrawals received within 72 hours prior to class start date will be refunded at 75% of the tuition cost.
• No refund after class start date, unless indicated on payment plan. |
