Grounding Electrical Systems/Swimming Pools/Spas ~5-hour seminar
This class has been updated to the 2008 Code. This five (5) hour seminar will cover the proper grounding of electrical systems, swimming pools/spas and equipment operating at 600 volts or less. This class qualifies for five (5) hours of continuing education. A 2008 NEC book is required.

Intro to Programmable Logic Controllers  ~60 hours
  This course utilizes Allen-Bradley software and will cover PLC Electrical Safety, Hardware, Ladder Logic Theory, Programming Instructions: Inputs, Outputs, Bit, Timer & Counters, Math functions, Networks, Troubleshooting and Servicing the PLC System and more . (72 Hours of combined lecture and hands on lab).
• A basic knowledge of the fundamentals of electricity including series/parallel circuits and motor control recommended.

  If you are an entry-level craft worker or you just want to learn more about “Green” building, this course provides fundamental instruction in green environment, green construction practices, and green building rating systems. This course is endorsed by Green Advantage and recognized as beneficial to individuals planning to sit for the Green advantage Commercial/Residential certification exam. Each student receives, along with their textbook, a “Green Advantage” study guide for those who would like to prepare for the Green Advantage green building certification exam. The course is taught by a National Center for Construction Education and Research (N.C.C.E.R.) “Master Instructor”.
